Assumption of the Blessed Virgin

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon beneath her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. Let us all rejoice in the Lord, as we celebrate the feast day in honor of the Virgin Mary, at whose Assumption the Angels rejoice and praise the Son of God.

Have a blessed week!

My dearest friend Kerri,
I completely forgot this day, which was a favorite of my mother. You brought back many memories for me. You are so sweet and wonderful to post this Blessed Virgin. I have been so busy painting our bedroom, I am done now but let me tell you it was a big job. Now I feel like I accomplished something this summer. Thank you for visiting and hope you have been well, dear one and the doggies too. Blessings, Lu
