Château de Creully is an 11th- and 12th-century castle located in the town of Creully in France. This beautiful castle has been fabulously modified throughout the years. In about 1360, with the Hundred Years War, it was modified into a fortress. During this period, its architecture was demolished and reconstructed with each occupation by the English and the French.
With the end of the war (1450), ownership of the castle returned to Baron de Creully. It was demolished on the orders of Louis XI in 1461 through plain jealousy. According to legend, When Louis XI passed through Creully in 1471 he authorized its rebuilding to thank the local people for their warm welcome.
Today, the castle's large halls are used today for various events, including weddings, concerts, exhibitions and conferences. Nice!
Hope everyone is enjoying April and having a blessed Spring.

Happy Sunday my friends! ...My latest creation on this beautiful sunny day. Charlemagne Boutique was located on the corner of St Paul & Charlemagne in the 4th arrondissement, this boutique was known in France for high end corsets and lingerie at the turn of the century. It was fun to create this vintage reproduction :)
Have a lovely week ahead.

I love this scripture. This painting would be perfect for the "mother to be" or for a baby girl's nursery! SOLD ... but I am painting another one very soon.
I have been very busy in the studio lately.
