Cafe de Flore

The Café de Flore, at the corner of Boulevard Saint Germain and Rue St. Benoit, is one of the oldest and the most prestigious coffee houses in Paris, celebrated for its famous clientele.

The name is taken from a sculpture of Flora, goddess of flowers and the season of spring in Roman mythology, located on the opposite side of the boulevard.

The Café de Flore offers a wide menu range from teas, coffees, hot chocolates, alcoholic drinks and juices — from snacks to full meals — with favorities like toasties and croissants, omelettes, salads, soups and desserts.

Bon Appetit!

Dearest Kerri,

Great to read you again! This looks wonderful for having a cup of coffee on the terrace... may I invite you to one? Let's chat for a while.
Hugs to you,

Oh I love this place wish I could enjoy sitting there with a good friend like you. I will send you sunshine as you asked if you will send us some rain in return. It has just been too hot here and we are so ready for fall. Hugs, Lu

Dear Kerri,
Oh it is just beautiful! I have always wanted to visit Paris. Maybe one day.
Thank you so much for visitng and your kind words about my painting Moonbeam.. I was inspired by Beverly's horse. I hope you had time to click the link and visit her beautiful farm.

It is so nice you were able to have a horse growing up.. I wished for one when I was little every Christmas.
Blessings,
Penny

IF YOU ARE EVER IN PARIS, you must go to Angelina's. Their hot chocolate is like PUDDING.....you do so much walking in Paris that you loose weight, I kid you not. I had the time of my life there!

Thank you so much for visiting! Have a great Sunday, Anita

Hi Kerri,
I am late getting around but finally able to take some time to visit. I love this post and I could enjoy going to the wonderful cafe about now!! LOL
Thank you for sharing this inspiration. I plan to go someday.
I bet you are doing lots of painting. Me too. I found a queen size crocheted bedspread over the weekend and used it to cover the chair in my studio. Posted a pic today. It was a great find.
Happy Creating my friend.
Have a great week.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Kerri,
What a charming cafe. Oh how I would love to go in there and order a cup of coffee. I will tell Nel about this place when she goes to Paris for her honeymoon. Mythology has always been interesting to me.
