French Labels & Pink Roses

Lately I have gotten into collecting vintage labels, especially French. When I was a little girl I had off white "French Provincial" style furniture and ever since then I have always loved that style of decor. Aaaah and with pink roses everywhere.... Ooooh-la-la! So while the mood struck, I painted pink roses on an old board and added some glitter, then clear faceted beads where the nails left tiny empty holes. There is a small crack in the wood that gives it old style charm. Sweet!

"The pure soul is a beautiful rose, and the Three Devine Persons descend from Heaven to inhale its fragrance."  -- St. John Vianney.

Sweetest Blessings,

Kerri

Kerri,
Your artworks always suprise me even if I well know how beautiful and creative handcrafts you can create.
One of them is hung on wall at home here. I love this one with pink roses.

Hello there dearest!!!! I hope this is the correct blog to follow you on! THANK YOU FOR COMING to enjoy my home with me. I shared it because many blog friends were interested in seeing the renovations we had done this winter...I had a hard time trying to figure out how to share what I consider my poor photography!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND COMMENTS and I wish you great success in sharing your art. I am dabbling in water colours and I am having a blast!

Many thanks and see you during the week! Anita

Hello,
I visited your blog today. I saw you on Castles, Crowns, and Cottages. Isn't Anita wonderful? I have a handsome twenty year old, like you do, and I love roses, especially red. I amy crazy about the color pink too. In fact, I want to do a "Pink" post in the future. Me and my daughters just started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. Jess just did a post about "Pink Flamingos" that I think you might like. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you and seeing all your creative pink ideas. Hope to hear from you, and have a beautiful week.
